TENDER NOTICE

 

Subject:- Award of contract for Pest Control treatment in the office of DGFT (Hqrs.), New Delhi for a period of two years.

 

This office proposes to enter into Contract for Pest Control treatment of 57,218 Sq. Ft. area of Rooms, Corridors and Bath-Rooms and Record Room of this office. The Record Room is situated at Jeevan Vihar Building, Parliament Street, New Delhi having 2812 Sq. ft. area. A copy of the terms and conditions of the Contract is enclosed.

 

2. Interested parties/firms who are having valid licence of Pest Control are requested to quote their rates on Sq. ft. basis as well as on lum-sum basis for a total area of 60030 Sq. Ft. including 2812 Sq. ft. area of Record Room at Jeevan Vihar Building, Parliament Street for a full year for the above contract with the details of work done/being done in other Government offices.

 

3. The quotations may be sent so as to reach the undersigned (Room No. 306) or shri Mahinder Pal, FTDO, Room No. 202 latest by 13.11.2006 upto 4.30 PM alongwith earnest money of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. One thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft issued in favour of DGFT, New Delhi, with the following superscribed on the top of the sealed envelop QUOTATION FOR CONTRACT OF PEST CONTROL TREATMENT.

 

4. Quotations received thereafter will not be considered.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE CONTRACT OF PEST CONTROL TREATMENT

1.                            The currency of the contract will be initially for one year which will be extended for another one year, if work/services found satisfactory.

2.                            The contractor will be responsible to keep all the rooms/corridors and Bath-Rooms free from pests including wooden furniture of the rooms and should depute experience persons for execution of job along with all material, machines and manpower.

3.                            The work voucher would be obtained from the occupant of the rooms and submitted to General Section along with the bill.

4.                            The spray of insecticides, pest control services will be once a month.

5.                            There may be occasion when certain rooms need special pest control treatment. The rates for such anti termite/pest control treatment may be quoted separately for per Sq. ft.

6.                            A copy of valid licence and copy of latest Income Tax should be enclosed.

7.                            TDS will be deducted at source as per rules.

8.                            In case, the firm backing out in the midstream without any explicit consent of this department, it will be liable to the recovery of the higher rate which may have to be incurred by this department on pest control treatment for the balance period of the contract by alternative means. The bill amount of the period would also be forfeited. The firm would also be debarred from participating in future tenders of the department.

9.                            No transportation charges on this account will be paid by this office.

10.                       Department reserves the right to cancel the contract any time during the currency of the contract without giving any reason, whatsoever if the services provided by the firm are found to be unsatisfactory.

11.                       No advance payment in any case would be made.

12.                       The successful bidder will have to deposit Security money equivalent to 10% of the contract amount for one year.

13.                       The payment will be made on quarterly basis. No advance payment will be made.
