TENDER NOTICE

 

Subject:- Award of contract for binding of office records for a period of two years.

 

This office proposes to enter into Contract for binding of following office records for a period of two years. A copy of the terms & conditions is enclosed :-

1.     Export-Import Policy Book. Half Leather Binding and ordinary.

2.     Handbook of Procedures (Both Vol.) Half Leather binding and ordinary.

3.     Cash Register half leather binding and ordinary binding.

4.     Study Book.

5.     Circular and other material half leather and ordinary binding (In bundle upto 200 pages).

6.     Service Book ordinary binding.

7.     Pay Bill Folder.

8.     Pay Bill Register.

9.     Files

10. Other Records (In bundles up to 200 pages).

 

2. Interested parties/firms are requested to quote their charges for the above contract with the details of work done/being done in other offices.

 

3. The quotations may be sent so as to reach the undersigned (Room No. 302) or Shri Mahinder Pal, FTDO (General Branch, Room No. 202) latest by 29.11.2006 upto 4.30 PM alongwith earnest money of Rs. 2,000/- (Rs.Two thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft issued in favour of DGFT, New Delhi, with the following superscribed on the top of the sealed envelop QUOTATION FOR CONTRACT OF BINDING OF OFFICE RECORDS.

 

4. Quotations received thereafter will not be considered.

CONTRACT FOR BINDING OF OFFICE RECORDS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The currency of the contract will be initially for one year which may be extended for another one year, if work/services found satisfactory.

 

  1. TDS will be deducted at source as per rules.

 

  1. In case, the firm backing out in the midstream without any explicit consent of this department, it will be liable to the recovery of the higher rate which may have to be incurred by this department on maintenance of machines for the balance period of the contract by alternative means. The bill amount of the period would also be forfeited. The firm would also be debarred from participating in future tenders of the department.

 

  1. No advance payment in any case would be made.

5. The successful bidder will be required to deposit security money of Rs. 3,000/- (Rs. Three thousand only) in the form of FDR issued in favour of this office submitted within 15 days from the date of commencement of the contract. In case the services of the contractor is found unsatisfactory, the security deposit will be forfeited and contract will be terminated.

 

6. The contractor will be responsible for security of the documents of this office provided to him for binding.

 

7.     No transportation charges on this account will be paid by this office.

8.     The Contractor will obtain the work vouchers from the concerned officer towards execution of satisfactory work and the same will be attached with the respective bills.

9.     The Director General of Foreign Trade has the right to terminate the contract at any time without assigning any reason.
