The NCSTC-2025 will be a 2-day conference organized jointly by DGFT with Ministry of External Affairs and other government departments in Bengaluru on 16-17th January 2025. The conference will focus on specific sectors (Defence, Aerospace, Chemicals, Biotechnology, Electronics, IT & Emerging Technologies and Compliance along with focus on academia and research). The thematic sessions will be spread over 2 days with esteemed speakers from Government of India and international organisation followed by sector specific panel discussion moderated by relevant Industry experts and Question and Answer round addressing queries of exporters relating to strategic trade controls, policy and licensing framework.
NCSTC 2024
The National Conference on Strategic Trade Controls (NCSTC) 2024, held on January 30 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, attracted over 500 participants and was organized by DGFT and MEA. The event focused on India's regulatory framework for strategic trade controls. It featured three thematic sessions: i) India’s Strategic Trade Control System and Regulatory Compliance, ii) Industry Experience and Compliance, and iii) Intangible Technology Transfers (ITT), Compliance in Academia, and Emerging Technologies. The conference fostered dialogue between government officials, industry leaders, and international delegations on strategic trade and compliance.
