Pre-Shipment Inspection

"Pre-Shipment Inspection" module aims to recognize the agencies to conduct Pre-Shipment inspection for import of shredded, un-shredded, compressed, and loose forms of metallic waste and scrap. The recognized pre-shipment inspection agency (PSIA) conducts the inspection in different countries as recognized by DGFT and issue pre-shipment inspection certificate (PSIC).

Pre-Requisites for Applying for PSIA

Pre-requisites as mentioned in the Chapter 2 of Handbook of Procedures may be referred.

Agency must compulsorily register on the portal with valid email ID to apply for PSIA.
